KANON Loading Equipment measures in relation to the coronavirus

Because of the COVID-19 coronavirus the world finds itself in an exceptional situation. As a dedicated world-wide supplier of Marine- Road and Rail Loading Equipment, better known as Loading Arms, KANON is taking measures to protect employees and customers and to secure the continuity of its ongoing projects and its Sales and After Sales Services.

Keeping connected

We are making substantial use of our excellent homeworking facilities.
Within office hours we can be reached by phone +31 36 5219777 – Emergency numbers outside of office hours are available on the answering machine.
Video conferencing can be arranged.

We are monitoring the situation very closely and follow the instructions of the WHO and Dutch Government Authorities.

Protecting customers and employees

KANON is minimizing the physical contact between members of staff as well as between employees and customers and suppliers. From March 16, employees have been working from home as much as possible. We split up teams and business travel domestic and abroad is suspended to prevent the spread of the virus.

Service to customers

We have made the arrangements to be able to serve customers remotely, by phone, e-mail and video conferencing. Our usual channels are open for your inquiries and questions.

Physical contact with customers and suppliers is temporarily being restricted as much as possible. This applies to customers in the Netherlands and Abroad. As from March 13, the working activities of service engineers throughout the World are limited. For urgent malfunction reports and maintenance work please contact our Service Team. Engineers will work in accordance with tighter safety measures and according to site safety regulations.

Finally, KANON is doing everything it can to keep afloat and, along with our customers and suppliers, contribute to health, safety, solidarity and economy. We are keeping a close eye on the situation and will take further measures if required.
