Top loading Arm designed to meet your needs

Kanon Top loading arms are designed for safety in tank or truck loading operations. They are adaptable to your tanker size, liquid type, and are engineered to meet your requirements. From food applications for clients such as Nestle Heineken or for (Petro)chemicals clients such as Shell, Saudi Aramco, Dow & Ineos: we are well-respected in the industry for our fully custom built loading arms but can also supply more basic solutions.

As a standard, our top loading arms are equipped with four swivel joints and a balance system with a counterweight or multi-coil spring cylinders. On top of that, we offer a large number of accessories to make sure your loading arm meets the highest safety and project requirements.

Open loading

In case of an open loading, the drop pipe has no provisions such as a cone, coupler or flange to avoid exposure of the handled liquids to the outside environment.

Semi -closed loading

When liquids which are Dangerous to health or environment are loaded or unloaded, a top loading arm can be equipped with a manhole cone and vapor return line. This is called semi-closed loading. The cone will cover the manhole during the loading sequence, so that product vapour will be released through the vapour line and product splashes will not cause risk to the operator.

Fully closed loading

Fully closed loading might be required in case the handled liquids are pressurized, dangerous or not allowed to be exposed to air. In this case the top loading arms can be equipped with a flange or a coupler for connection to the top tanker
