TRANSPORTATION OVERVIEW
Fully assembled, on jacks
On-site work: Few, only erection. 1 Day per MLA (Erection & Mechanical installation)
Advantages: Very cost-effective.
Disadvantages: Limited flexibility once on site.
Fully assembled, on skid , by road
Work on site: Few, only erection.
Advantages: Cost-effective, Easy to handle due to skid
Disadvantages: Skid can’t be re-used
Dismantled and stowed in containers
On-site work: Containers need to be unpacked, 2 Cranes required during assembly, 3 Days per MLA (Erection & Mechanical installation)
Benefits: Most cost-effective overseas (shipping method)
Disadvantages: Works on site, Once assembled on site, no storing possibility
Fully assembled, on skid, overseas
Work on site: Few, only erection. 1 Day per MLA (Erection & Mechanical installation
Advantages: Easy to handle due to skid
Disadvantages: Shipping in bulk or RoRo can be costly
